XM's jazz channel is managed by Steve Stiles, the former Music Director for WNUA in Chicago.  XM has also hired the services of has announced that Quincy Jones and Wynton Marsalis to assist in the production of music specials.  Russ Davis takes command of a modern jazz and new age channel. He was honored by Gavin as 1990's "Jazz Person of the Year."
